Organization:

Set up a 3 x 3 yard box of cones in the center of a 10 x 15 yard field

Description:

Player 1 passes to Player 2 inside of the box. Player 2 touches the ball back to Player 1 and runs out of one side of the box to receive a return pass. Player 2 receives and turns, then passes up to Player 3. After passing, Player 2 runs back into the box to receive the pass from Player 3 to start the next passing sequence. The drill is continous, with players switching out after 1-2 minutes.

Focus Points:

  • 1st touch

  • Passing to the correct foot

  • Opening up with the first touch

  • Run immediately after passing
