Set Up:
There are 10-12 players set up in the attacking third, with lines starting at the cones. To begin the drill, Player 1 passes the ball up to Player 3. Player 2 releases from the cone with the first touch, and from there, Players 1 and 2 combine with Player 3 on three player combinations to goal. All three players must touch the ball before finishing. Upon completion, the drill re-starts from the other line and play alternates between the two lines for the rest of the drill.
Coaching Points:
1. A poor first pass will throw off the timing of the entire combination.
2. Maintain the correct distance from the passer in case the ball is played backwards.
3. Attack at speed, as if defenders were tracking back quickly.
Progressions:
1. Add a defender inside of the penalty area.
