Set Up:
There are 12-15 players set up in the attacking half, starting at the cones. Play begins with a run from Player 2 towards the Feeder. The Feeder fakes to Player 2 and then plays up to Player 1. Player 1 passes back to Player 2, and Player 2 makes a one touch pass thru to Player 3, overlapping down the line. Player 3 crosses, Players 1 and 4 finish on goal. Upon completion, Players 1 and 4 return to their spots, and Players 2 and 3 switch positions. The drill then re-starts on the other side of the field. After 5-10 minutes, Players 1 and 4 rotate out and new players switch in to the finishing spots.
Coaching Points:
1. Players 1 and 4 have to hold the finishing runs until the entire play develops.
2. The thru pass should be made first time, and it should not slow Player 3 down.
3. Player 2 must use sharp changes of speed and direction on his checking run.
Progressions:
1. Add a defender in the penalty area.
