Set Up:
12-20 players are set up on a small field, with lines starting at the cones. The players line up at four corners of the field, and twenty balls are set up in pile in the middle. On the Coach’s signal, the first player on each team sprints into the middle, picks up a ball, and then shoots on the goal facing him. As soon as he hits the shot, the next player on his team (coming from the opposite corner) can begin his run to goal. The first team to score three goals wins.
Coaching Points:
1. Attack the goal at an angle as opposed to a straight on dribbling run.
2. Take your last dribble touch to the side to create a better shooting angle.
3. As you come in, pick your head up and deal with the goalkeeper.
Progressions:
1. Goals can only be scored on a breakaway.
