Set Up:
Ten players are set up on a small field, playing 5v5. To begin the drill, the Feeder sets five balls on the midfield line. The two teams station two players at the cones and three players along the end line. On the Feeder’s signal, all of the players release from their starting positions. Both teams then look to win balls and dribble across the opposing team’s end line. Balls put out of play are re-started by the Feeder, and the team that scores the most goals out of five wins the game.
Coaching Points:
1. Attack at speed with the dribble. Try not to turn away from goal.
2. If you do turn and shield, turn again quickly before you get double-teamed.
3. If the defenders are occupied, look to touch the ball forward into space and run with it.
Progressions:
1. All players start on the end line.
