Set Up:
The drill starts with a 9v1 rondo. A defender is added after 5 consecutive passes until the defenders win the ball. Teams can be switched each time the defenders win possession. A scoring system can be used - the attacking team scores one point for every defender that comes after the fourth one.
Coaching Points:
1. Always be prepared to play a one touch pass.
2. The entire team should play in a one and two touch rhythm.
3. Split the defenders with passes when they fail to drop into the center.
Progressions:
1. Split the field in half. Start with a 8v1 and add a defender with every 5 passes. Attackers can transfer the ball over to the other half at any time.
