Coaching Points:
-
In ball possession make the field as long and wide as possible.
-
Correct movement of the players when their team is in ball possession: the attacker starts and stay high and moves left/right to create a passing lane, the midfielders stay wide and move up or down the sideline to get open, defender starts back and moves left/right to receive the ball back and to keep the build up going.
-
The team of three stays close together and tries to take the long pass out.
-
After losing the ball, the team of four must pressure quickly; it's 4v3!
-
After winning the ball, the team of three should try to play / dribble forward as quickly as possible.
-
Switch roles every couple minutes.
