Set Up:

There are 18 players set up on a split field, playing 3v2 in the defending zone, 3v3 in the central zone, and 2v3 in the attacking zone. During the game, the players try to advance the ball from zone to zone, and create scoring chances in the attacking zone. The players may not leave their zones during play, and balls put out of touch are re-started with a throw-in. On goals and balls put out over the end line, the game is re-started by the Feeder.

Coaching Points:

1.  Do not take on defenders 1v1 inside of your defensive zone.  

2.  In the middle third of the field, take what the defense gives you.

3.  Check away from the ball in order to create space within the attacking zone.

Progressions:

1.  Allow players to cross over with the pass.
