Set Up:

12-16 players are set up in the defending third, playing 4v2 with players starting at the cones. The Feeder begins play with a pass out towards the corner. From there, the four attackers try to work the ball out of the back and score in either of the two small goals set out on the flanks. If the defenders win the ball, they try to finish on goal. When a goal is scored or a ball is put out of play, the Feeder re-starts play with the next set of attackers and defenders.

Coaching Points:

1.  Use the entire space, switch fields, and involve the goalkeeper in the attack.

2.  The outside backs should look to run with the ball once it is played out to the flank.

3.  Do not take on defenders 1v1 in the defending third. Take zero risks.

Progressions:

1.  Add a defender.

2.  Progress to 6v4, and then 7v5.
