Wall Pass Repeats
Wall Pass Repeats
Set Up:
9-12 players are set up in a small grid, working their way across the field. Player 1 begins play by performing a wall pass combination with Player 2. He takes a dribble touch up the field and then changes the ball over to Player 3. Player 3 then wall passes with Player 2, who has made the supporting run over to the other side of the field. When the players reach the end of the grid, they rotate to new positions and start back across.
Coaching Points:
1. The wall pass combination consists of two short passes made directly to the feet.
2. Before passing, look up and check for the target at least once.
3. Set the wall behind the defender, out of his field of vision.
Progressions:
1. Run groups of players in both directions.
