6v6, End Line
6v6, End Line
Set Up:
Twelve players are set up on the small field, playing 6v6 with one player stationed on the end line. To begin the game, the Feeder plays the ball in to any of the attacking players. To score, the attackers must pass the ball to the player stationed on the end line. After scoring, the attacking team keeps the ball and rotates a player to the opposite end line, attacking in the other direction. The defending team must rotate a player to their end line as well. During the game, balls put out of play are restarted by the Feeder.
Coaching Points:
1. Attackers should look for overlaps and takeovers when a dribbling run stalls.
2. When one area closes down, switch the ball over to the other side of the field.
3. Be the first to anticipate the transition from attack to defense and vice versa.
Progressions:
1. Limit the attacker on the end line to one touch.
