Set Up:

12-16 players are set up on the small field, playing in three groups of four. The players pass and move within the grid, using the entire space and avoiding contact with the other two groups. Certain conditions can be put on the drill:

1)  Two touch only.

2)  Limit certain players to one touch.

3)  Three players form a tight triangle with the fourth playing out wide.

Coaching Points:

1.  Players should not hide in dead space. They must show and call for the ball.  

2.  Before striking the pass, players should look up and check the target one more time.

3.  When a route closes down, fake the pass and look for another option.

Progressions:

1.  Players can knock the other team’s ball out off the field.
