Set Up:

Four players are set up inside of the small grid with two balls. During the drill, the players receive and pass the two balls as quickly as possible. The patterns of play vary throughout the drill (see Progressions), and the direction of play changes after two minutes.

Coaching Points:

1.  The receiver should make eye contact with the passer and call for every pass.

2.  The non-kicking foot should be pointed right at the target.

3.  Get into the path of the ball as quickly as possible and get your feet set.

Progressions:

1.  Two touch passing only.

2   Only pass to your partner.  

3.  Pass around the grid.
