Set Up:

12-16 players are set up on a small field, with lines starting at the cones. Feeder 1 (stationed on the end line) begins the drill by passing the ball in to Player 1. Player 1 lays the ball off for Player 2 to finish, then runs to the opposite goal to finish the second ball, set back from the end line by Feeder 2. Either of the two Feeders can begin the drill, and they can pass to either of the two attackers at the start. After five minutes, the Feeders switch out with two of the attackers.

Coaching Points:

1.  After receiving, pick your head up and watch the goalkeeper’s approach.

2.  With first time shots, approach the ball at an angle as opposed to straight on.

3.  Touch the ball off to the side so that you can shoot at all four corners of the goal.

Progressions:

1.  Air ball service.

2.  Driven ball service.

3.  One touch finishes.
