Double Pass, Wall Pass
Double Pass, Wall Pass
Set Up:
Four players are set up inside of the grid, working back and forth between the cones. Player 2 begins the drill with a double pass / wall pass combination with Player 2. Player 3 comes to the ball as a passive defender, and Player 2 runs by him to receive the last pass. Player 2 then dribbles to the next cone and starts the next combination with Player 4. Player 2 becomes the passive defender. After 2-3 minutes, the players switch to new starting positions.
Coaching Points:
1. Whenever a defender chases the ball, the double pass combination is on.
2. The passes are made directly to feet rather than leading the player into the space.
3. Accelerate after making the first pass and run by the defender.
Progressions:
1. Players can overlap on the opposite side.
