Combination Play - Passing & Receiving
Organization:
Set up cones in large diamond shape with two cones in the center. Players at the bottom, top and center of the diamond. Start on top and bottom of the diamond at the same time. Players follow their passes.
Level 1

Player 1 plays a pass into Player 2, Player 2 bounces the pass back to Player 1 with left foot (Passes 1 and 2 in the diagram)

Player 2 moves to the cone on the right side while opening up to receive with right foot.

Player 1 plays to ball to Player 2's right foot, Player 2 plays a right footed pass to Player 3. (Passes 3 and 4)

Player 1 moves to the center, Player 2 to the top of the diamond.
After 2 to 4 minutes change direction and go to the left.
Level 2

Activity starts the same way with passes 1 and 2.

Player 2 runs out to receive from Player 1 and plays another bounce pass back to him (Passes 3 and 4).

Player 1 plays a longer forward pass into Player 3 on the opposite side (Pass 5).

Player 2 movement is around the gate and checks underneath Player 3.

Player 3 plays an underneath pass to Player 2, who bounces the pass back which resets the sequence (Passes 6 and 7).
After 2 to 4 minutes change direction and go to the left.

Additional Progression
The player who moves to the center puts pressure on the central player who receives the ball from the other side.
