Organization:  

Area: 15Y x 15Y. Size of field depends on the number of players and age group or goal. 

Two players stand across from each other in the center of the grid. One is the cat, one is the dog.

When the coach yells out "CAT!", the cat (in red) tries to tag the dog (in blue) before the dog reaches the end line. When the coach yells out "DOG!", the dog tries to tag the cat before the cat reaches the endline.

Switch partners after several turns. 

Variation:  Players have a ball in their hands (carry) or at their feet (dribble). Make the grid longer. Players are in different starting positions; push up position, lying flat on the ground, sitting position, and so forth. Be creative.
