2v2, Dribble to Score
Organization:
Area: 20Y x 15Y. Set up two small goals in the corners on one endline and two wider dribble through gates in the corners of the other endline.
The attacker with the ball starts with a 1v1 move and a pass to their teammate. The attackers try to score on the small goal, and the defenders score by dribbling the ball thru a gate and over the endline.
When the ball goes over the sideline, dribble or pass the ball back in.
Play is over when a goal is scored or the ball goes out over the end line. Switch sides after each turn.
Game: Keep track of goals scored by pair, or create two teams and keep track of score that way.
Focus Points:
- Role of first and second defender.
- Creative runs from attackers; Overlaps, Give and Go.
Technical:
- Passing and receiving skills (furthest foot).
- Dribbling skills.
- 1v1 skills, attacking and defending.
Attacking:
Goal: Build up, create scoring chances and score goals.
