Organization:

Area: Half field, less than full width.

Create two teams and play 8v8 (7 plus goalkeeper). Both teams play in a 3-1-3 formation. Regular soccer rules apply.

Game: Keep track of the score.

Coaching Points:

• Quick pressure on the ball.

• Make the field small together.

• Give each other back cover.

• Block shots and crosses, tackling, sliding.

• Quick transition after winning or losing the ball.
