Both teams are looking to build from the GK’s possession to create goal scoring opportunities. Players should look to recognize opportunities to turn, dribble and create 1v1 scenarios, recognize space, and travel quickly by running with the ball.
Rules of the practice:
Lock the players into the zones. Players can only move forward into next zone by dribbling in. Turning in to beat a defender. Running with the ball. These help to encourage the skill element and create overloads.
