Set Up:  

There are eight players set up in the small grid, with two playing in the center, and six starting at the cones. To begin the drill, Player 1 passes up to Player 2. Player 2 passes back to Player 3, and Player 3 finishes the combination with a thru pass to Player 4. Player 4 plays the ball over to Player 5 to restart the drill in the opposite direction. On the next sequence, Players 2 and 3 switch roles, and the ball moves from Player 5 to 3 to 2 to 6. During the course of the drill, the players rotate to every position.

Coaching Points:

1.  Watch the play develop in order to time your run. 

2.  Start the blind side run when the defender turns his head.

3.  The thru pass should not slow down the run of the player receiving it.

Progressions: 

1.  Limit Players 2 and 3 to one touch.
