Set Up:
There are 19 players set up in the attacking third, with a 2v1 in the penalty area and lines at the cones. The attacker begins play by making a checking run away from the Feeder. The defender can release as soon as the attacker moves. When the attacker checks back to the ball, the Feeder plays the ball to his feet, and play continues 3v2 from there. If the defenders win the ball, they can score in the two small goals placed just outside of the penalty area. Upon completion, the Feeder re-starts play with a pass out to the opposite corner. The two teams switch starting positions after ten minutes.
Coaching Points:
1. Use feinting and dribbling moves to create enough space to turn.
2. Threaten to go all the way to the end line, and then cut the ball back across the field.
3. Start the finishing runs when the dribbler has taken his last touch before crossing.
Progressions:
1. Progress to 2v2 on the flanks.
