Set Up:
Ten players are set up inside of the penalty area, playing 1v1 plus one in the two flank zones, and 1v1 in the central zone. The Feeder begins play with a pass in to either one of the flank zones. Play then moves from the flank zone into the central zone for a 1v1 finish on goal. The attacker in the central zone is allowed to pass the ball back out into a flank zone during play. If the defender wins the ball in the central zone, he must play the ball back out into a flank zone before attacking the goal. Balls played out of bounds are re-started by the Feeder.
Coaching Points:
1. Use the entire space in the flank grids and look for 2v1 combinations.
2. The central attacker should check away until his teammates are ready to pass.
3. Pass the ball back outside if you can’t turn, then work to get open again.
Progressions:
1. The Feeder can play the ball directly into the central zone.
