Set Up:
There are 15 players set up in the attacking third, playing 1v1 plus one in the two flank zones, and 3v3 plus one inside of the central zone. The attacking team begins play in one of the flank zones, and must pass into the central zone before shooting on goal. All of the players stay inside of their zones during play. If the defending team wins the ball inside of the central zone, they must play the ball out into a flank zone before going back to goal. When the ball is put out of play, the Feeder re-starts the game with a pass into either flank zone.
Coaching Points:
1. Maintain possession until a good opportunity to pass into the next zone presents itself.
2. Anticipate changes of possession to ensure a quick transition to attack or defense.
3. In the flank zones, look to get to the end line for crosses and setbacks.
Progressions:
1. The neutral attacker follows the pass into the central zone.
