Setup:
Three pairs of players play 4v2 keep away. When a player loses possession, he and his teammate go into the middle to defend. Any time a player is nutmegged, his team gets an extra turn on defense. During play, the players on the outside must stay very close to the lines of the grid. If a defending team is stuck in the middle for more than 30 seconds, they do ten push ups and switch out.
Coaching Points:
1. When a defender closes the distance, fake a pass to slow down his run.
2. If a defender chases the ball, look for the thru pass that splits the defenders.
3. Use one touch when you can, two touches when you should.
Progressions:
1. Limit one of the players on each team to one touch.
