Set Up:

There are ten players set up on a small field, starting 3v2 in the defending half, and 1v2 in the attacking half. Play begins in the defending half. When the ball is advanced across the midfield line, one attacker crosses over with the pass, creating a 2v2. When the defenders win the ball, a teammate comes back into the defending half to create their 3v2. Balls played out of bounds are re-started with a kick in, and the Feeder re-starts play when goals are scored.

Coaching Points:

1.  Expand the space in the defending half in order to take advantage of superior numbers.

2.  Change the point of attack quickly in order to create a 1v1 for an attacker.

3.  Use 2v1 combinations (overlap, thru pass, wall pass) on isolated defenders.

Progressions:

1.  Play 2v2 plus one in both halves.
