Set Up:
There are nine players set up on a small split field, playing 3v2 in one half and 2v2 in the other. The three attackers maintain possession in their half versus two defenders and look to change the ball into the other half. When the ball is switched over, one attacker follows the pass into the other half, re-forming the 3v2. When the defenders win the ball, they are free to move within the entire space. If the defenders cannot win the ball within one minute, the other two defenders switch in for them.
Coaching Points:
1. Start in a wide position and look for blind side runs in behind the defenders.
2. Anticipate changes of possession and switch quickly from attack to defense.
3. Play in a one and two touch rhythm, and let the ball do the work.
Progressions:
1. The attackers must change the ball within three passes.
