Set Up:
Seven players are set up on a field split into three zones, playing 2v2 in the central zone with neutral attackers starting from the end lines. To begin play, the neutral attacker dribbles the ball thru his defending zone and into the central zone, creating a 3v2. To score, the attacking team must pass the ball from the middle zone to the neutral attacker on the opposite end line. If the defenders win the ball, then they attack 3v2 in the other direction. After a goal is scored, the attacking team keeps the ball and the play changes direction.
Coaching Points:
1. Use the width of the field to make blind side runs in behind the defender.
2. Look to attack isolated defenders with 2v1 combinations.
3. When a teammate runs directly at you, the takeover or heel pass combination is on.
Progressions:
1. Use small goals on the end lines.
