Set Up:
Ten players are set up on a field split into three zones, starting 2v2 plus two in one end zone and 2v2 in the other end zone. Play begins in one end zone with the 4v2. To advance the ball, the attackers must pass to a teammate running into the central zone from the opposite end (the attacker is followed by a defender). The two neutrals then cross over with the pass, creating a 3v1 in the central zone. From there, the three attackers pass into the other end zone, and all four players cross over to re-form the 4v2. The direction of play then reverses.
Coaching Points:
1. Show early for passes so that your teammate can get the ball off of his foot quickly.
2. Use the entire space and force the defenders to chase the ball.
3. The attacker making the run into the central zone must wait for the play to develop.
Progressions:
1. Remove a neutral and play 3v2 into 2v1 into 3v2.
