Set Up:
There are ten players set up on the small field, starting 2v2 in each half. Play begins in the defending half, and the attackers have to pass the ball across the midfield line before shooting on goal. When the ball is played in, one attacker crosses over with the pass to create a 3v2 advantage. When the defenders win the ball, the third attacker must go back into his own half so that play can begin 2v2. On goals and balls put out of play, the Feeder re-starts the game.
Coaching Points:
1. Use 2v1 combinations (overlap, takeover) when an attack stalls.
2. Change the point of attack quickly in order to create a 1v1.
3. Work the third man into your passing combinations to get over the midline.
Progressions:
1. A defender crosses over with the pass, creating a 3v3.
