Set Up:
This soccer drill is set up the exact same way as the 1st Touch Box Passing drill. This is just a variation geared towards advanced players. Each pass must be made in the air so that the player receiving uses their chest or head to control the ball. The goal is to receive the ball and maintain control within the zone marked by the cones.
Coaching Points:
1. Direct your first touch to a specific spot, away from your body.
2. Play in a two touch rhythm.
3. Strike the pass with backspin to make it easier to control.
Progressions:
1. Control with the thigh only.
