Set Up:
There are 8-12 players set up on a large field, with lines starting at the cones. To begin the drill, Player 1 wall passes with Player 2, and then plays the ball up to Player 3. Player 2 runs thru to receive the square pass from Player 3. From there, Players 2 and 4 combine on a thru pass and a finish on goal. Upon completion, the drill re-starts from the other side of the field, and play alternates for the rest of the drill.
Coaching Points:
1. Player 2 has to hold his run so that he can sprint onto the square pass.
2. Angle the thru pass into the center for Player 4 to run onto.
3. Fade out to the sideline and out of the defender’s field of vision, and then run in behind.
Progressions:
1. Player 2 can shoot.
