Set Up:
10-15 players are set up in the attacking third, starting at the cones. The Feeder begins play with a pass to Player 1. Player 1 fakes a pass to Player 2 (who then makes an overlapping run) and passes the ball inside to Player 3. Player 3 then plays a one touch pass out to Player 2, running towards the corner. Player 2 crosses to Player 4, who finishes on goal. Upon completion, the Feeder re-starts play with four new players. During the drill, the Feeder can serve to both sides of the field.
Coaching Points:
1. Player 1 must use feinting moves to give Player 2 time to make the overlap run.
2. Player 3 checks away until Player 1 is ready to deliver the pass.
3. The overlap is on if the first attacker (Player 1) has space in front of him.
Progressions:
1. Add a defender inside of the penalty area.
