Set Up:
There are 20 players set up in the attacking third, playing 3v3 in the penalty area, 1v1 in the flank zones, and 4v4 plus two in the midfield zone. Play begins in the midfield zone, and the attacking team must pass the ball into one of the flank zones before going to goal. Players may not cross over into another zone during play. When the defending team wins the ball, they must play it back out into the midfield zone before attacking the goal. The Feeder re-starts play in the midfield zone after a goal is scored or the ball is put out of play.
Coaching Points:
1. Maintain possession until a good opportunity to pass into the next zone presents itself.
2. Anticipate changes of possession and have a quicker transition than your opponent.
3. Attackers in the flank zones should try to get to the end line for crosses and setbacks.
Progressions:
1. Allow shots from the midfield zone.
