Set Up:
There are eleven players set up inside of the penalty area, playing 6v3. The attacking team tries to maintain possession inside of the penalty area and finish on goal. If the defenders win the ball, they return it to the Feeder for the re-start. The Feeder also re-starts play when goals are scored or when the ball is put out of play. Every 1-2 minutes, the defenders switch out with three of the attackers.
Coaching Points:
1. Close down the center and let the goalkeeper handle shots from bad angles.
2. Don’t lunge in when you try to block a shot. It makes more you susceptible to fakes.
3. Follow the goalkeeper’s commands, and try not to panic in the penalty area.
