Set Up:
There are 12-15 players set up in the attacking third, starting at the cones. The Feeder begins play with a pass up to Player 1. The defender pressures Player 1 from behind and he passes to Player 2 or Player 3. When the pass is made, the defender leaves Player 1 to chase the ball. From there, the attacking team looks to complete the sequence with a cross and finish. Upon completion, the Feeder re-starts the drill with new flank players and a new defender.
Coaching Points:
1. Players 2 and 3 must hold their runs until Player 1 is prepared to pass.
2. Players 1 and 2 wait for the defender to commit to them before passing off.
3. If the defender takes away the thru pass, Player 2 changes the ball to the other flank.
Progressions:
1. Player 1 can distribute to any of the attackers.
