Set Up:
Two goalkeepers are set up on a narrow field, with target zones placed at each end. The goalkeepers play the ball at the target zones and can score by:
-
Playing the ball into the zone on the ground.
-
Landing the ball inside of the zone in the air.
-
Settling a driven ball inside of the zone in one touch.
The first player to ten points wins the game.
Coaching Points:
1. Move into the path of the ball as early as possible and get your feet set.
2. Prepare the ball at the proper angle in order to strike a hard, accurate pass.
3. Point the toe down and slice under the ball in order to drive it with back spin.
Progressions:
1. Reduce the size of the target zones.
