Set Up:
There are 8-12 players set up in the attacking third, starting at the cones. The Feeder begins play with a pass out wide to Player 1 (or Player 3). Player 2 makes a supporting run to receive a short pass from Player 1. Player 1 spins off of his man, runs down the line, and receives the thru pass from Player 2. The sequence finishes with a cross and finish by Player 3. Upon completion, the drill is re-started by the Feeder. Players rotate to all of the positions during the drill.
Coaching Points:
1. Player 1 must hold the defender off long enough for Player 2 to make his run.
2. Player 1 has to feel for the pressure behind him and then spin off of the defender.
3. Player 2 must hold his run and then jump into the open space to touch the ball off.
Progressions:
1. Add defenders to pressure Player 1 and Player 3.
