Organization:
Area: 50y x 30y
Set up a triangle with cones to resemble the positions of the 6, 8 and 10 midfielders. Two lines of attackers start opposite the midfielders, ten to fifteen yards away. The second attacker in line passes the ball to a midfielder. The midfielder opens up with his first touch and passes the ball to the first attacker of the other group. The attacker goes to goal and tries to finish. At the beginning of the activity, attackers should pass the ball in the hands of the goalkeepers to warm them up. After shooting, attackers dribble a ball back to the other line. During the drill, attackers can shoot from distance or try to beat the goalkeeper in a 1v1.
Midfield Rotation: After each pass, the three midfielders quickly rotate positions, either to the left or to the right. As soon as the midfielder arrives at the new position, they ask for the next ball.
Variations:
- The first pass goes to the nearest lower midfielder, who opens up and passes to opposite group.
- The first pass goes to the furthest lower midfielder, who opens up and passes to opposite group.
- The first pass goes to the 10, who combines with the 6 or 8. This 6 or 8 passes to the attacker going to goal.
- After the attacker receives the ball from the 6 or 8, the attacker passes to the 10, who opens up and passes to opposite wide attacker.
