Set Up:
Eight players are set up in the attacking third, with the shooter starting at the cone. The shooter begins the drill from the cone, wall passing with the Feeder and then finishing on goal. After the shot, he sprints back past the cone, picks up the next ball, and repeats the sequence. Each shooter finishes ten shots, and then switches out with a player on the end line. A running score is kept for each player during the round, and the loser gets some sort of penalty.
Coaching Points:
1. If the first pass in the combination is poor, the second pass may be a poor as well.
2. If the dribble gets too far out in front, it will bring the goalkeeper off of his line.
3. Circle around the return pass and approach the ball at a forty-five degree angle.
Progressions:
1. Back pass from the Feeder, first time finish.
