Set Up:
Eight players are set up on a small field, starting at the cones. To begin play, two attackers move into the center of the field, receiving passes from either of the two Feeders and then combining for a shot on goal. They can shoot on either goal, but they can’t shoot until the goalkeeper is set. After each shot is taken, the attackers move back into the center in order to receive the next pass. The attackers switch out after five shots each and become the Feeders for the next pair.
Coaching Points:
1. Prepare the ball at the correct distance, about two or three steps away.
2. Take the last dribble touch off to the side in order to create a shooting angle.
3. Carry the ball into the center so that you can shoot at all four corners of the goal.
Progressions:
1. Air ball service.
2. Driven ball service.
