Set Up:
Sequence #1: Player 1 starts the sequence with a double pass with Player 3, and then passes outside to Player 2. Player 3 runs in behind the mannequin to receive a thru pass from Player 2, sending him in for a finish on goal. Sequence #2: Player 4 passes up to Player 6, then makes a delayed run to goal. Player 6 plays square to Player 5, who lays the ball off for Player 4 to finish. The players move the ball in a one and two touch rhythm during the entire sequence, and upon completion, the players rotate from 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 to 5 to 6 to 1.
Coaching Points:
1. Timing the Runs – Hold the runs to goal if extra touches are taken during the sequence.
2. The Finishing Run – After passing, do not sprint to goal. Delay your run.
3. Finishing Angles – The angle of your finishing run should allow you to shoot at all four corners.
