Set Up:
As above, with the area set up in a diamond shape with goals at every point of the diamond.
• Each goal is a given a number, and the player to the right of that goal is also given that number.
• The players have three balls each and serve the balls in with their hands.
• Coach calls out random numbers within a one minute time, and the servers throw the ball in to the player in the center circle.
• The central target player controls the ball and has 2 touches to finish on the correct goal. The balll can bounce once.
Teaching Topics:
- Choice of technique when controlling the ball.
- Decision to hit first time or use two touches.
- Execution of ball control, direction and distance of first touch.
- Finishing technique.
