Organization:

Area: 10Y x 10Y

Set up a 10y x 10y area with small goals in each corner. Teams start on the end lines between the small goals, and one team begins each 1v1 with a pass to the opposite side. The coach can also start 1v1s from the sideline. After each turn, players switch sides to keep the game balanced.

Game:

  • Player with the most goals wins.

  • Keep team scores.

Focus Points:

Attacker:

  • Quality first touch.

  • Speed dribble with laces or outside foot.

  • Look up or use peripheral vision when dribbling.

  • Keep the ball close when near the defender.

  • Make your move at the right moment.

  • Explode after the move and finish quickly.

  • Change direction if one goal is blocked.

Defender:

  • Close down quickly, slow when near.

  • Stay low and angled.

  • Force attacker wide or to the sideline.

  • Time the tackle correctly.

  • Explode and score quickly after winning the ball.

If you want, I can also condense the focus points into even punchier bullet points so it’s faster to read on the field. Do you want me to do that?
